Episode One
Hassan Al Kontar
Originally from Syria, Hassan found himself stranded at
Kuala Lumpur International Airport for several months
due to his immigration status, and has not been able to
return to Syria since 2011. He wrote about his journey in his book called Man at the Airport.
Episode two
Tahmina Saleem
Born in Kabul, Afghanistan, Tahmina is a documentary
photographer who has a special focus on Afghan
women. She participated in several exhibitions around
the world and has had her work published on websites
such as The Guardian and The Huffington Post.
